* Designed for the "Weary Soldier" who has been in some very tough battles. We welcome them in, give them encouragement and a safe drug & alcohol free environment.
* Upon arrival we will ensure that they've got clothing and food and necessities.
* The first day they just need to relax and get settled and meet the other people in the program.
* The program requires 30 hours of job hunting per week until at least 30 hours of weekly employment is obtained.
* All clients pay $100/week rent. (This can be paid by doing 10 hours of volunteer work until a paycheck is received.) If/When client graduates successfully, they get up to $25 back for each $100 they paid in - up to $500!
* Clients are required to get a job that they can walk or bike to. (Bicycles are provided)
* Weekly church attendance is required (Christian church of their choice). They are never required to believe any particular faith, just to hear for 1 hour per week about the One that is providing a roof over their heads. And of course, it is our hope and prayer that their faith grows while they are with us.
* Most of our clients come in, get settled, find employment in the first 2 weeks, continue to work hard and save up for their own place, and then move out.
The application is a 2 step process. Here is a link to the first step.

After you complete the questionnaire in the link, you will be contacted by one of our directors. If you qualify for the 2nd step - an in-person meeting will be scheduled with you. If/when you are accepted, you can move right in. 2 bags of belongings is what you are allowed to bring because of our limited space
Every client must pass the 14 panel drug test no matter what prescribed medications cause it to trip. In other words, if you use your med mar. card, you will no be allowed into our program.
No, you will get your own bed, dresser, and night stand.
Folks on disability should be able to afford one of the local rooms to rent. You will not qualify for our transitional living program, but you are welcome to go to the emergency shelter for up to 7 days while you look for a room.
Our clients will be required to park/not use their automobile until/unless they find a job and they are making at least $1500 per month (take home). Until then, it is our stance that they cannot afford that automobile.
This is a requirement of our program. If you refuse to attend a church of your choice, you will not qualify for this program but are welcome to go to our emergency shelter for up to 7 days.
